The death defying video truly starts out with my favorite one, the old guy just barely getting touched by the car skidding around the corner. I'm grateful the dude isn't dead, but I swear the people who crowd the streets during these rally events are just begging to be splattered.

Mario ripping the wings off the flying turtle. Moment to treasure forever.

I think the goalie just felt left out, plus he's got the most padding on, so if anyone's gotta fight, let it be the guys who are practically in sumo suits.

The Peep Show is going down next year. I swear I am going to blow people's minds. Just you wait.

I'm waiting for Revolutionary War Zombies: Part 1 - The Colonials. :)

It's true we obviously differ on our opinions of Obama and his actions, but I don't feel I am defending him purely emotionally or without facts. In many situations like this it truly comes on both sides as a guessing game because neither side can really know the true intentions behind these politicians actions, today or 20 years ago. With the facts I have seen on both sides of the Democratic debate (not ours, but the one being waged on TV) I haven't seen enough facts to lead me to believe Obama is being disingenuous, which is unfortunately the feeling I get from Hillary. I actually believe more in McCain and his honesty, over Hillary, even though I don't agree with what he is being honest about.

Luke,

With all respect, what you have said is not an argument. It seems you have an emotional attachment and are willing to defend Obama to the end without regard for facts. This is a real problem. Politics cannot be about emotional attachments to politicians who will let you down all the time. Rather, politics are about upholding your principles with passion. Barak is now a real disappointment, but for many their attachment to the man is clouding their vision.

Well, who knows whether his pastor was making such loud and vitriolic statements 20 years ago. People definitely have a tendency to change and maybe the Reverend has changed for the worse.

Who said anything about a ruler of perfection? I didn't. No, I would like to hold this Rev. to a minimal rule of not being a lier and not fomenting racial hatreds. This is a pretty low standard.

I also did not say Obama should run from his pastor now. That would be phony. But, if he had had good judgment 20 years ago, he would have run.

I have to respectfully disagree to parts of your comment.

Yes, he was definitely avoiding coming out to make this speech because it is a volatile topic and he has run his campaign largely on a platform avoiding the race card instead of employing it. So to combat this particular issue it had to be done delicately so there is admission that race is an issue in this campaign, but expand it beyond the road to the White House and remind everyone that it is an issue for the whole country.

No, running from his pastor would not have been the right choice. One of the things I felt he was also trying to impress is people are not perfect, they are never 100% one thing or another. We are all a combination and culmination of events, environments, opinions and teachings, even before we start to think for ourselves. Yes, his former pastor has some incorrect opinions on things, but does that make everything he says wrong? Does that invalidate any truths Obama learned from him previous to those outrageous speeches? If we try to hold everyone to the ruler of absolute perfection we doom ourselves to solitude, not to mention a delusion that we ourselves are perfect. Also, if we run away and cut off all communications and dialogue with people who have objectionable opinions, how do we expect to teach them the other side of the equation? Where is progress?

Yes, it was a gutsy speech. But, it was the speech he has been avoiding all along. He was forced into it. And, I dont find it convincing.

Obama used an emotional device to get the listener to stop thinking. "I will not disown" This language gets us to feel an emotional bond. But, emotional bonds to people with wicked thoughts and who teach lies and falsehoods are dangerous.

Obama ought to disown this man, not yesterday, but 20 years ago. Obama upon hearing that Klannish thinking should have run the other way.

But, Obama held on to Wright and Trinity because they were his tie to a black community he had never been a part of. Obama, from an elite prep school in Hawaii and Harvard, was looking for street cred in the hood. He has used Wright for 20 years. And, this is just as evil as the words of Wright himself.

Many people have renounced the Church of Brady after the Super Bowl, but I still keep the faith. I believe next season he will toss the pigskin across the sky and the clouds will part. The Archangel Michael (not Michael Vick, we all know where that boy is going) will not only bring out his trumpet, but he'll play Taps and the world will dance.

You're not sick, but I'm scared of people who say that. That does put a damper on our relationship.

I'm also a huge fan of Downey Jr. and I think almost all his work on screen is pure gold, like Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Thankfully he seems to be back on the somewhat straight and narrow because he was dangerously close to becoming another Hollywood tragedy.

I'm not sick.

I've heard of Boondock Saints but don't even know what it is. And you're telling me there are actual movie zealots out there? Thats a new one. Move over religious zealots!

Wasn't "The Stand" already a graphic novel? Aren't ALL of King's books graphic novels? I'm confused.

I love Robert Downey Jr. so I don't think he could really do anything wrong in my eyes....other than use drugs until he drops and, you know, having sex with hookers.

My favorite part of the Powerthirst is "power spawning babies. You'll have 400 BABIES!" then giving them sockalate so they'll be as fast as KENYANS!! Genius. Just plain genius.

Flowcharts do have an amazing simplicity to them. If I ever can't decide, I can look to the 'Indecision' box and move along. It's like living life inside of a 'choose your own adventure' book.

Musings are well done! The video game parody and powerthirst clips were hilarious. I think I could use some Rawberry too. I think stripping Cotillard of her Oscar is insane.

Mostly, I LOVED the flowcharts. I need one for my world domination plan in which all women will become my slaves (not the dirty kind, the kind that do what i say and build me things).

I sit corrected. I guess the Los Angeles launch of the shoes already took place. I guess that just means we have a larger treasure hunt to take part in. My first guess for the locations of the shoes is... San Paolo!

I would love to be wandering around in the streets of LA when a deluge of super-bouncy balls rained from the sky. I might actually be convinced I had been transported to heaven, since we all know that everything in heaven bounces. It's a biblical fact.

The popping noise is our logical cortex in our brains. After reading the original article and suffering the mental damage, I suddenly thought Paris Hilton was an intelligent and creative person. Luckily my insurance covered the surgery to fix it.

Re: No 3 -- He is an idiot. I hope the giant spider eats him. *shudder*

I wish Sony would drop super balls in LA! That would be awesome...walking down the street, all the sudden you're surrounded by hundreds of bouncing super balls...then again, it might also hurt a bit. oh well. It would be worth it.

No 9 - LOL!

No 10 - I heard the same pop. What is that?

I can't be upset about Harry Potter being split because that should mean that we are going to get one movie about character build-up and dramatic moments and a second movie of all out Potter wizardry and ass kicking in the big, final battle. I think the war scene should be filmed like Apocalypse Now. :)

I don't know why they made another Hulk film either, but since they did, I totally have to see it. I'm such a junkie.

Ellen is so clever. I wish Kern would have answered the phone!

I want to be upset that HP7 is being split but I'm not. The further into the books the movies get, the worse they have been. The movies cut out major portions of the books, almost to where you can't understand the plot unless you've read them. HP7 should not be skimped on so I'm actually applauding this move by the studio.

I don't understand why there is ANOTHER Hulk movie! Sequels and remakes blow. (but you already knew my opinion about this.) Other than that, I love Liv Tyler. I can't believe she's doing a comic book movie. I bet she's way taller than Norton. hehehe.

I think movies like speed racer are weird. There is so little acting because everything is digital. It's weird.

Wow. I think writing has limitations, boundaries and tons and tons of fear.
Fear that my writing will split open my veins and my blood will run free until there is no more left of myself and there is nothing left to write or want to wrote or...
see? It's harsh. Writing sort sucks, actually. I wish I had persued my original career of law... talk to me. I really enjoyed Me? Just curious if you still think this...?
